The original master suite in this home had a huge but rarely used master bedroom, one small walk-in closet, and an oddly shaped master bathroom. To create this space, we removed all the walls. With the now-available space we built a new, larger master bathroom where the old master bathroom once was. Using some space from the bedroom we created two new master closets.

The clients also desired a light, bright, and open feel while still maintaining an appropriately transitional style, blending well with the look of this more traditionally styled home. We achieved this using classic details including gray and white marble tiles throughout the space. Two linear, rectangular marble inlays appear, highlighting the free-standing soaker tub and outlining the floor of the shower. To make them stand out, we found a uniquely blue, gray, and white granite for the counters and bench. Finally, the soft blue walls help tie the space together.
